Street Bike Freestyle was born on the streets with a lawless theme that revolutionized the typical road ride. More recently the sport has taken off with competitions being organized to make the activity safer and more legitimate, giving stunt riders a way to stay out of jail and make a living at the same time. One of the big benefits of the sport is that it takes place in a more or less standardized area of 100' x 300', which is tiny compared to the space required by a race track, and small enough to easily fit into a parking lot.
Wheelie-popping, tire-sliding, and endos are the basis for the progression of a myriad of mind-blowing tricks that are pushing the sport away from what was consider to be impossible just months ago.
Jason Britton, leads the pack with a skill known as drifting, with unbelievable throttle control and weight displacement, he is able to slide his back tire side to side in a controlled manner.
At some point the icons of today envision riding parks in cities just like we have skate parks today. The bottom line is that the level of skill of the athletes will blow your mind. Street Bike Freestyle's future looks as bright as the ground-off side of a well-used wheelie bar.
