| Simulators |
POV-2 and POV-4 simulators will be available for "test rides" and "test drives" by all participants. The POV-2 simulator is a motorcycle simulator which looks and feels very much like riding a real motorcycle.
Both the motorcycle simulator and the car simulator give you an opportunity to experience and react to realistic driving situations without putting yourself in danger. Both simulators are great for developing your mental skills and hazard recognition.

Motorcycle Inspections
|
Leader's Motorcycle PPE Inspection Checklist
Motorcycle Instructors will perform a safety inspection on all motorcycles participating in the May 7 event or riding in the May 8 ride. You may have your bike inspected on Friday for the ride Saturday.
Inspections will start at 8 am on Friday and 7 am on ride day. Using the TCLOC form found on this website, please check out your own motorcycle before arriving at the site. Make sure you have no oil or fuel leaks, that both brakes are functional, and your tires are not bald. Also, car tires on motorcycles will not pass inspection. You will learn how to perform a TCLOC inspection on your bike each time you ride and will leave the event with the TCLOC form used for your bike.

| Suspension Clinic |
Learn how to measure the "sag" in your own motorcycle's suspension and adjust your suspension to suit your weight and riding style. The Suspension Clinic will be provided by a Total Control Advanced Riding Clinic Instructor.
|
| Impaired Riding Demonstration |
The Motorcycle Safety Foundation will provide a demonstration of rider performance before and after impairment with the aid of Fatal Vision
Goggles. Riders will ride a course without the goggles and then ride
again "under the influence" of the Fatal Vision Goggles. The rides will be performed on a Spyder, a three-wheeled motorcycle.
